As part of our efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and provide more testing for our communities, In and Out Urgent Care is currently offering COVID 19 Screening Virtual Visit. This is available at our Covington/Madisonville Location ONLY. If your provider suspects you may be infected with COVID-19. We perform both Rapid Antigen (15 minutes after collection) and PCR Testing (2-4 Days). Please call ahead as the Rapid Antigen Testing is based on availability. OUR METAIRIE LOCATION PERFORMS RAPID COVID 19 TESTING AS WELL BY APPOINTMENT ONLY THROUGH OUR ONLINE SCHEDULING SITE.

In and Out Urgent Care’s Virtual Visit offers secure, cost-effective care for common illnesses and health problems through a live, online virtual visit. Rather than driving to your physician or waiting it out at your nearest emergency room, you can see a healthcare provider from your home or office, on your smartphone, tablet or computer. Click the Link to our video interface at Solv Health, and our Virtual Patient Care Coordinator will verify your insurance and verify your symptoms through text messaging. Once this is complete our clinical staff and provider will be able to join you live in the Virtual Care Room to review your symptoms and questions, diagnose and send a prescription to the pharmacy of your choice if needed. Providers are available online to see patients ages 2 and older. Patients 17 years and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the visit.

How we screen for the COVID-19: In and Out Urgent Care healthcare providers look for symptoms such as fever, cough, and shortness of breath. How we can help you*: A virtual visit is a great option if you’re worried about infections because it allows you to seek medical attention from your home and limit the spread of disease. If the provider suspects you may be infected with COVID-19 based on your virtual visit we will be able to test you based on availability of tests. They may also provide instructions to isolate yourself from others or to go to your nearest emergency room or Call 911.

How to protect yourself and those around you: Wash your hands often, for at least 15-20 seconds, cover your cough, and disinfect common surfaces such as doorknobs, tables, and bathrooms.
